Welcome to "How to Lose Weight.” This program although educational, are ways that I explored using weight. For me, they worked. For others, your body might respond differently. You will hear me mention that I was vegan, which did aid me weight loss. However, I discovered that veganism did not work for my body. I was missing out on certain vitamins and nutrients although my diet was clean! As a result, I went back to eating meat. Weight gain was attributed to too much sugar, dairy, and saturated fats. Once I narrowed things down, I understood that meat was not the problem, my mindset was. Please keep in mind, that the goal is to eat as natural as you can, don’t neglect your body, be disciplined and select physical activities that you really enjoy. The gym is not the only option. You could play basketball once a day, take a walk at a park, dance in your living room, play tennis, etc. Happiness in life and staying active always contributes to health. So remember, be patient with yourself, create goals and chip away at them daily. Everything you want in life could be at your finger tips. I might not know you, but I care. Continue to be great!
